Waltz Business Solutions boasts an impressive legacy, spanning over 130 years of operation. Our story began in 1892 when Frank Waltz founded his typewriter repair company. Fast forward to the early 1900s, Waltz achieved national recognition for his invention of the “triple typewriter,” a groundbreaking innovation that enabled the creation of three-part invoices, revolutionizing the service industry.

In the 1960s, the Jehn family took the reins, steering the company toward diversification. We expanded our offerings to include cutting-edge products and services that cover the entire document lifecycle, from creation to destruction.

Throughout our history, we’ve embraced evolving technology, adapting to stay at the forefront of our industry. Today, alongside our Kyocera copiers and printers, Waltz offers a comprehensive suite of office technology and services. This includes document imaging and scanning, workflow automation, digital fax services, secure document destruction, as well as advanced collaboration tools like interactive touch screen displays and state-of-the-art security cameras and software.

The Present, Looking to the Future

In 2023, Waltz Business Solutions merged with DSC Office Systems in Cincinnati, Ohio, marking a significant milestone. This merger positioned Waltz to emerge as the preeminent document solutions provider in the Greater Cincinnati, Dayton and Northern Kentucky area. The merger with DSC, itself a legacy company founded in 1966, brought with it a range of new product offerings like Pitney Bowes digital mail, postage equipment, and digital duplicators to the already robust line of business solutions we offer.
